    Businessman and philanthropist Kennedy Agyapong, commonly known as Kenpong, has been reported to have been involved in a road accident along the Accra–Winneba highway on August 8, 2025.

    While details surrounding the cause of the crash and the extent of his injuries are still emerging, authorities have confirmed the incident.

    Kenpong, the CEO of the Kenpong Group of Companies, is well known for his significant contributions to various sectors. His business empire spans telecom engineering, sports, construction, and travel and tourism, with notable investments in Kenpong Travel and Tour, Icegold Mineral Water, and the Kenpong Football Academy.

    In addition to his business achievements, Kenpong is also a close friend of Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, and he has built a reputation as one of Ghana’s prominent entrepreneurs.
