The burial service for renowned Ghanaian traditional singer Naa Amanua Dodoo, popularly known as Naa Amanua, is currently taking place at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
Family, friends, and loved ones, dressed in black and red, have gathered to pay their last respects, with many visibly emotional as they file past her body. Her microphone-shaped coffin, a tribute to her musical legacy, stands as a symbol of her profound influence on Ghanaian traditional music.
Naa Amanua, who passed away on December 17, 2024, was a member of the iconic Wulomei band and a cultural ambassador dedicated to preserving and promoting indigenous Ghanaian music.
