A British man has died after the car he was in was involved in a Costa Blanca crash with another vehicle driven by a Belfast-born OnlyFans model.

The unnamed 54-year-old was one of four British nationals – two men and two women all aged in their fifties – travelling in a Nissan Qashqai which was caught up in the fatal accident with 21-year-old Madison and her husband 28-year-old Johnny Smyth.

Madison, at the wheel of a BMW, was read her rights at the scene of the crash but not formally arrested.

She was later told she was being investigated on suspicion of manslaughter although it was not immediately clear when she will be summoned to court.

Neither she nor Smyth, also from Belfast, were injured in the incident which occurred around 7pm last Friday on the A-70 in the municipality of El Campello near Alicante, Spain.

Local reports said the Nissan Qashqai smashed into a central reservation crash barrier after being hit from behind by the vehicle she was allegedly driving.

The dead man, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, was flung from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene after emergency responders confirmed they were unable to do anything to save him.

It is not known if he was a holidaymaker or lived in the area.

This is the third time in four months Madison has found herself at the centre of controversy.

The glamour model spent ten days behind bars in September following her first arrest of the year after cops pulled over her Audi A5 Cabrio and discovered nearly a kilo of crystal meth and 30 grams of cannabis resin inside, before paying 20,000 euros to get out of jail as part of a conditional release.

She was held on September 8 and released from prison on September 19 but remains under investigation.

Her second arrest last month occurred after two loaded pistols were found in a car she was driving following a police stop.

Three other men were in the vehicle with her but only two were held – a British national and an Irish national- because the third fled.

Madison and the other two men arrested with her are continuing to be investigated by a judge on suspicion of unlawful weapons possession.

This comes as the model continues to insist that her partner had nothing to do with dad-of-one John George’s homicide in December 2024.

His body was found in an orchard in Rojales near Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca in January last year after anguished appeals by his family following his disappearance the previous month.

Two men were arrested and are currently on bail, including Smyth.

Despite being held on an international arrest warrant last March at an Airbnb in northern Portugal after fleeing his expat home and being extradited to Spain the following month, Smyth was told he could leave his remand cell last month after paying 100,000 euros in bail.

Last April, Spanish Civil Guard officers confirmed John George had been shot dead on December 14 2024 and announced they had completed their investigation into his murder.
