A 26-year-old British man has died after he was shot multiple times in the United States.
Jamie Thomas Stephen Lomas was killed on August 22 and a murder investigation has been launched.
Officers had been called to a domestic disturbance at a residence near Lake Youngs, east of the city of Kent, in Washington State at around 12.20pm that day.
Mr Lomas died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to King County Medical Examiner’s Office report.
His death has been ruled as a homicide.
No arrests have been made and the case remains an active investigation, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

A Foreign Office spokesman said: ‘We are supporting the family of a British man who died in the USA and are in contact with local authorities.’
A spokesman for King County Sheriff’s Office added: ‘On August 22 at about 12:20pm King County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance, that had occurred at a residence located on the 23000 block of 156 Ave SE.
‘Deputies arrived and secured the scene.
‘No arrests at this time and this remains an active investigation by our major crimes detectives.’
