Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Bright Morgan, has opened up about his girlfriend’s attempt to have him disqualified from the reality TV show.

In an exclusive interview with TV personality Doyin, the reality TV star detailed how the situation unfolded and the role he played.

Bright disclosed that he met his girlfriend in March this year online, with an understanding to see how things would progress.

When the opportunity to participate in BBNaija came up, Bright said his girlfriend supported his decision.

However, they had an agreement that he would keep things strictly professional in the house, with no romantic involvement.

Bright had handed over access to his social media accounts to his girlfriend after she volunteered to manage them while he was in the house.

The tension began after his girlfriend saw him holding hands with a fellow housemate, Mide, during a dinner, which reportedly upset her.

According to Bright, his girlfriend contacted the show’s organizers, demanding his disqualification and urging him to return home, citing family concerns.

“Multi-choice called my brother, who immediately debunked the claims,” he said. Despite this, she continued to attempt to sabotage his journey on the show.

Inside the house, Bright had found companionship with Mide, who expressed her discomfort with being perceived as someone who ‘stole another lady’s man.’

Bright promised to discuss the situation with his girlfriend after leaving the house and took responsibility for his actions.

He went on to describe his girlfriend’s efforts to tarnish his reputation on social media by tagging him with unprintable names.

“Calling to ask that they disqualify me is not love but obsession,” Bright said, emphasizing the emotional strain the ordeal caused.
