A lady has warmed the hearts of many online after she shared her touching story of how her office building owner stepped up as a father figure during her wedding, by walking her down the aisle in the place of her absent father.
The lady, Beau Noir, moved many with her story. In a post she made on X (Twitter), she shared how she had no parental figure to walk her down the aisle during her wedding, as her father had never been present and her mother had passed away.
Gill, her office building owner, whom she had grown close to over the years, knowing her plight, humbly asked her for the honor of walking her down the aisle.
She revealed how his kind gesture moved her, as this was the first time a man was stepping up for her in a fatherly way.
She wrote,
“This is Gill he owns the building where I work. Over the years, I’ve opened up to him about my father never being present and my mother no longer being here. When I got engaged, Gill sat me down and gently asked my Husband and I if he could have the honor of walking me down the aisle. In that moment, I felt something I’ve never felt before in a fatherly way a man truly stepping up for me in the most honorable way. I am forever grateful. The bar is set, and my heart is full.💖“
