    After weeks of rumours about his decision to resign from his current station, there is finally a statement to confirm all the wild speculations.

    In a statement released in the early hours of Monday, December 6, 2025, celebrated Ghanaian sports presenter, Ebenezer Kyere, who is fondly called King Eben has officially announced his departure from Wontumi FM.

    The celebrated sports broadcasted has served for an impressive four and a half years at the media house before his departure today.

    In his statement released, King Eben, expressed his profound gratitude to the Wontumi Multimedia team, particularly Chairman Wontumi, for their immense guidance and support throughout his journey.

    He described his time at the media outfit as as “incredible” yet “demanding,” but emphasized how rewarding it had been working with what he called “a wonderful family.”

    King Eben further noted that his decision to leave was not taken with a heavy heart but rather with a sense of fulfillment and readiness to embrace a new challenge.

    While he did not disclose his next destination, he assured his fans and colleagues that an announcement would be made soon.
