A lesbian singer banned from her LA gym for complaining about a transgender woman in the female locker room eloquently silenced a woke mob while grilling one of California‘s most powerful Democrats.
Tish Hyman confronted state senator Scott Wiener, who represents parts of San Francisco, about the alleged encounter in the women’s locker room at Gold’s Gym in Beverly Hills.
The dispute gained national attention after a video of her screaming about ‘grown men with big d**ks’ in the gym’s locker room went viral.
She was referring to Alexis Black, a 32-year-old trans woman who told the Daily Mail that she still has male genitalia and previously went by the name Grant Freeman.
Hyman spoke to Wiener, who is gay, because he is running for Nancy Pelosi‘s seat in the House of Representatives. If he wins, he would have more power to legislate on the issue of women’s safety in female-only spaces.
‘I want to support you. I have millions of people behind me, watching this right now and we want to know, are you going to protect women?’ she asked. ‘Not trans women. Women. Women and trans women are a different thing.’
When an audience member interjected that ‘trans women are women’, Hyman dared to step on the third rail and declare: ‘No they are not, they are men.’
As the crowd began to boo and jeer, she stood up and stood her ground, shouting: ‘He broke his wife’s jaw so bad she needed reconstructive surgery’, referring to Freeman’s criminal history.

When Hyman said trans women are not women, an audience member contradicted her and began booing. This prompted her to stand up and lecture the crowd
Wiener said he was sorry Hyman was allegedly harassed but said that both cisgender and transgender women need to be protected from violence
Black spent a year in an Ohio jail after pleading guilty in a domestic violence case against her ex-wife.
The emerging mob was quickly stunned into silence as Hyman turned her back to Wiener and directly addressed the crowd.
‘I’m a lesbian. I’m not transphobic, and I’m black, so if there’s another black woman in here who wants to tell me how they feel, please join in, but all of you are not. And I don’t know who you are or what you are, but I’m a lesbian and I’m telling you right now, men are harassing women in the locker rooms!’ she yelled.
The mostly-white audience remained quiet, before the moderator asked Hyman to let Wiener answer her original question about women and trans women sharing locker rooms.
‘I appreciate your point of view. I’m so sorry you were harassed-‘ Wiener started to say.
‘Multiple times,’ Hyman interjected.
‘And I appreciate you talking about it,’ Wiener said. ‘I think we need to protect the safety of all women and obviously that’s incredibly important. And I also know that trans women are also brutalized in this country.’
‘So, women and cisgender women are brutalized in this country and we have to protect the safety of all women,’ he added.
Not satisfied with his answer, Hyman said: ‘We have to protect women. We cannot be raped in the bathrooms by men that want to say they’re women. They’re not women.’
When the moderator tried to cut her off, she declared that she was leaving.
‘You don’t have to leave,’ the moderator tried to say.
‘I am leaving! Because you know what? You guys are not protecting women,’ she said. ‘This thing with the trans, it’s not right. Thank you very much.’
After her encounter with the trans woman, Hyman went into the gym and shouted to other patrons about her outrage
Hyman posted this video of her confronting a trans person who she said followed her inside the women’s locker room of Gold’s Gym in Beverly Hills and called her a b***h
Alexis Black, 32, of Los Angeles, (pictured in February) is the transgender woman that Hyman clashed with at her gym. Both Black and Hyman claim the other harassed them
Hyman, a verified artist on Spotify with nearly 100,000 monthly listeners, said her encounter with Alexis Black at the Gold’s gym happened on November 2. She has said she had prior run-ins with her.
In the last showdown before she was booted from the gym, she said Black, who was dressed in a black long-sleeve shirt, dark leggings and earrings, ‘disrespected’ her on multiple occasions.
She said Black came into the locker room behind her and called her a b***h, which she said ‘terrified’ her before she ‘ran out into the gym screaming there is a man in the restroom.’
Hyman said the trans person was removed, but the gym staff then ‘turned around and terminated my membership too, as if I was being punished for speaking up.’
Black had a different story. She told The Daily Mail that she’s had altercations with Hyman at least four times. One of those times, she claimed, turned physical with Hyman putting her hands on her.
Black added that Hyman has filmed her both in and out of the locker room.
When asked by the Daily Mail if Black called Hyman a b**ch, after a long pause on the phone, Black would not confirm if inflammatory language had been used.
She replied: ‘Maybe.’
Black also briefly addressed her past domestic violence conviction.
‘That’s already resolved legally and personally,’ Black told the Daily Mail regarding her legal woes. ‘My focus is on healing.’
