A five-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after a wall collapsed during a child’s birthday party at a crazy golf course.

Police were called to Sidcup Family Golf on Sidcup Bypass, southeast London, at around 5.45pm on Sunday.

The boy was rushed to hospital by London Air Ambulance paramedics, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

A six-year-old girl was also injured in the incident but has since been discharged from hospital.

Witnesses reported that the boy had been attending a children’s birthday party. He is thought to have sustained a head injury.

It is not known what wall on the premises collapsed and police are investigating.

A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called at 17:44hrs on Sunday, 9 November to Sidcup By-Pass, Chislehurst to reports a child had been injured by a collapsing wall.

‘Officers attended and paramedics were treating a five-year-old boy.
