The World Boxing Organization will conduct the purse bids for their super middleweight title fight between champion Hamzah Sheeraz and former unified (WBO/IBF) middleweight champion Zhanibek Alimkhanuly at their offices in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It can be seen on the WBO YouTube Channel at 1 p.m. Eastern time.
The minimum bid is USD $300,000. The split will be as follows:
If the fight is held in the champion’s country of origin, residence, nationality or neutral venue…75% (champion)/25% (challenger)
If the fight is held in the challenger’s country of origin, residence or nationality…80% (Champion)/20% (challenger)
