The 23-year-old Julian Vogel (19-0-2, 10 KOs) of Aschersleben, the undefeated WBO Youth World super welterweight champion, will once again fight in his hometown, where he will make the fifth defense of his title. This title defense now has a very special additional component: against 22-year-old Frenchman Bakari Diallo, Vogel will also contest the vacant IBF Youth World Title in a double youth world championship bout. Diallo won the title last year, in April 2025, at welterweight.
Julian Vogel therefore has a great opportunity to become a two-time youth world champion in his weight class. With this being the Aschersleben native’s fourth “home game,” the young world champion can once again count on the full support of the local boxing fans from Aschersleben and throughout Saxony-Anhalt, in keeping with the motto, “Year after year!”
Further information about the program, the three title fights, and additional bouts on the SES Boxing Gala card will be announced at this press conference.
