    Results from the “Puños Patrios” (Patriotic Fists) event held on the night of Friday, September 18, at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center in Managua. The card featured 11 bouts—including boxers from Colombia, Venezuela, and Guatemala—and saw 11 fighters make their professional debuts.

    Nicaraguan female star Roxana “La Chela” Mendoza (now 11-0, 2 KOs) retained her WBA FEDELATIN super-flyweight title via unanimous decision (99-91, 96-94, and 98-94) against the experienced Colombian Paola Rincón (8-5, 5 KOs) following ten rounds of competitive action.

    Former WBC world champion Cristofer Rosales of Nicaragua defeated Venezuelan Isaac Arias by unanimous decision (77-75, 77-75, and 79-73).

    Other results:

    Jerry Simons defeated John Kenner by knockout at 2:48 of the second round in a scheduled six-round lightweight bout.

    Charly Guillermo defeated Edwin Ortiz by unanimous decision in a four-round super-bantamweight bout.

    Elehazara Quintero defeated Vallerín Pérez (Guatemala) by majority decision in a four-round super-lightweight bout.

    Julio Munguía defeated Ángelo Reyes by unanimous decision in a four-round flyweight bout.

    José Largaespada defeated Eliézer Gaitán by unanimous decision over four rounds in the super-bantamweight division.
