Tall southpaw Keita Nakayama (5-0, 5 KOs; amateur 40-13, 14 stoppages), 117.75, avenged his previous amateur loss and chalked up a fine TKO victory over Hijiri Oka (3-1, 2 KOs; amateur 40-10, 10 stoppages) at 1:58 of the fifth round to gain the vacant OPBF bantam belt on Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan. They began swapping solid punches at the close quarter from the outset, but Keita found his range and pinned his rival to the corner with a flurry of punches, which prompted the ref to call a halt.
