Having decked an excellent amateur mark of 57-1, 30 stoppages, 19-year-old prodigy Seiya Nakayama, 114.25, successfully made a professional debut when he dropped ex-WBA Asia champ Nattapong Jankaew (13-7, 9 KOs), 114, twice before the referee’s well-timed intervention at 0:52 of the sixth and final round on Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan. Ringsiders at the Hall were stunned to watch Seiya’s dazzling speed and hard-punching ability. His manager Hideyuki Ohashi was highly impressed with Seiya’s vast talents, saying he might fight for a world belt within 2027, hopefully. He is a tall southpaw and one of the highly spotlighted Nakayama three brothers.
