Two fighters coming straight off a world title defeat in Ye Joon Kim and Yuttapong Tongdee will collide at the International Boxing Championship – Chapter 2 in Lahore, Pakistan on November 28th as part of the four-day-long WBA Peace Convention promoted by Falcon Sporting Promotions, Manny Pacquiao Promotions, Roy Jones Jr Boxing and GloveBoxx.

South Korea’s Kim (21-3-2, 13 KOs) and Thailand’s Tongdee (15-1, 9 KOs) will contest for the WBA Asia Gold super bantamweight title in the main event at the MISA Cannt Lahore. Kim came in as a late replacement to challenge Japanese superstar Naoya Inoue for the undisputed super bantamweight title, losing by by a fourth round knockout. Tongdee looks to get back to winning ways having suffered a first round stoppage to Yoshiki Takei for the WBO bantamweight title in May.

The chief support will witness a WBA Asia South welterweight title fight between Argentina’s Alberto Palmetta and Filipino southpaw Joepher Montano. Palmetta (20-4, 13 KOs) claimed the WBC Latino title with a unanimous-decision victory against Christian Gomez in July. Montano (19-6-2, 17 KOs) will have his second straight fight in Pakistan after losing to Jesus Saracho by a fifth round knockout in May.

Also on the undercard: England’s Connor Taylor (8-0) will face-off with Jamiu Animashaun (10-3, 7 KOs) for the WBA Asia South light heavyweight title, Florida’s Lawrence Newton (16-0, 7 KOs) and Juan Alcantara Sanchez (11-8-2, 7 KOs) lock horns at super bantamweight, England’s Sahir Iqbal (12-1, 1 KO) and Omar Faruk (9-3, 8 KOs) of Bangladesh go to battle at super welterweight and Liverpool’s James Metcalf (27-2, 16 KOs) will collide with Julio De Jesus Rodriguez (27-9, 24 KOs) at middleweight.
