Fresh off an impressive victory in his Detroit debut on August 29, former top ranked amateur and featherweight prospect JuJu Ballo will be back in the ring on Saturday, October 10 as he headlines for the second time this year in Southern California. The 23-year-old star will face Carlos Torres in a featherweight contest atop the “Champions of Tomorrow” card at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, Calif.

Since his pro debut last summer, Ballo has aimed to stay busy and he is accomplishing that goal in his second bout in just six weeks. Ballo scored a unanimous decision victory over Julian Gomez-Clemons in front of a packed house at the historic Fox Theatre in Detroit to score his fourth professional victory.

The San Diego native has built a strong fan base in Southern California and helped pack the house in Detroit as he and his cousin Jonny Mansour continue to reach out to their strong middle eastern fan base here in the United States.

Ballo scored his third professional victory in front of a sold out Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, Calif., in April and he is looking forward to returning to his home state on October 10.

“Fighting back in Southern California means a lot to me because I get to perform for the people who have supported me since the beginning,” Ballo said.

The October 10 bout will be his second professional fight in the Los Angeles area following his appearance on the Championing Mental Health card at Ace Studios in LA last December.

“Coming off of the sold out Fox Theatre in Detroit, we are excited to put on a great show for the fans in Long Beach and move my professional record to 5-0,” Ballo said.

The “Champions of Tomorrow” card promises a full night of electric boxing action with Ballo closing the show. Tickets start at only $85 are on going fast so fans are encouraged to grab them now at ThunderStudios.com.
