Seven undefeated fighters. International opposition. A championship fight. And two days of boxing in the heart of Kansas City, KS.
BiYu Promotions is bringing an action-packed weekend to Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas, when the “Heart of America Pro + Am Boxing Invitational” takes place October 9 and 10, 2026, featuring a lineup of undefeated fighters looking to take the next step in their careers.
The two-day event will showcase both professional and amateur boxing, giving Kansas City-area sports fans an opportunity to see established contenders, rising prospects and developing talent all under one roof. For those unable to attend, the action will be broadcast live worldwide on CombatVisionTV.
Among the major attractions are seven unbeaten fighters who enter the event with a combined professional record of 72-0-1, bringing championship aspirations and a collective 47 knockouts into Memorial Hall.
From local undefeated standouts Jorge Carlos and Izak Carlos of Olathe, Kansas, to Garden City’s heavy-handed Eric Valencia, the card provides Kansas boxing fans with an opportunity to support home-state talent while seeing some of the sport’s emerging names face experienced opposition from around the world.
For Bobby Harrison, President of BiYu Promotions, the goal is to give Kansas City sports fans an event worthy of the city’s passionate sports culture.
“Kansas City is a great sports town, and we want the fans throughout this community to come out and experience what live professional boxing is all about,” said Harrison. “There is a completely different energy when you’re inside the building and two fighters are standing across the ring from each other ready to compete. We have undefeated fighters, dangerous opponents, local talent, international fighters and two championships on the line. We’re putting together the kind of event where boxing fans and sports fans can come to Memorial Hall and have a great night.”
Headlining the professional action will be undefeated Treavon Craycraft (9-0-1, 3 KOs) of Ambridge, Pennsylvania, who takes a significant step up when he meets Nico Ali Walsh (12-2-1, 5 KOs) in an eight-round middleweight main event.
Ali Walsh, the grandson of legendary heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, brings name recognition and experience into a matchup that gives Craycraft an opportunity to make a major statement while protecting his unbeaten record.
For Craycraft, a victory would provide another important building block as the 9-0-1 prospect seeks to establish himself on a larger stage.
Baltimore’s Dominique Crowder (19-0, 11 KOs) will put one of the card’s most impressive undefeated records on the line when he faces experienced Filipino brawler Jayson Mama (21-4-1, 10 KOs) of General Santos City, Philippines. Their scheduled eight-round bantamweight battle will serve as the co-main event. On the line will be the vacant North American Boxing Association (NABA) title.
Crowder arrives in Kansas City having won each of his first 19 professional fights, but Mama represents an experienced international challenge as Crowder looks to maintain his perfect record and continue his ascent.
Kansas fight fans will have plenty of reason to make some noise when undefeated Olathe native Jorge Carlos (13-0, 11 KOs) steps into the ring for his home state fans.
Jorge Carlos will battle veteran Carlos Manuel Portillo (23-10, 17 KOs) of Asuncion, Paraguay, in a scheduled 10-round bout.
With 11 knockouts in 13 victories, Carlos has demonstrated fight-ending power throughout his undefeated run. Now, competing in front of his home-state supporters, he’ll have an opportunity to expand on his perfect professional record.
“These are the fighters boxing fans should be getting to know now, because we believe you’re looking at future stars of the sport,” Harrison said. “Being undefeated is great, but eventually every prospect has to take the next step and prove himself against fighters who are coming to win. That’s what these matchups are about. We’re not just putting undefeated records on the card…we’re putting these guys in meaningful fights where the fans get to see what they’re made of.”
Unbeaten Pryce Sparrow (7-0, 4 KOs) of Radcliffe, Kentucky, will be tested against hard-hitting Rashield Williams (14-3, 11 KOs) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in a scheduled eight-round welterweight contest for the vacant North American Boxing Association (NABA).
Williams’ 11 knockouts in 14 victories make him a dangerous assignment for any developing fighter, giving Sparrow an opportunity to demonstrate his progression against an opponent with proven stopping power.
Another Kansas fighter looking to electrify the hometown crowd will be Eric Valencia (7-0, 6 KOs) of Garden City. Valencia has stopped six of his first seven professional opponents and will square off with experienced Nicaraguan Martin Diaz (18-24-2, 8 KOs) of Managua in a scheduled six-round bout.
The matchup pits Valencia’s youth, undefeated record and knockout power against a veteran opponent who has accumulated 44 professional bouts.
Olathe’s Izak Carlos (8-0, 6 KOs) will also carry an undefeated record into Memorial Hall when he faces Colombian veteran Deivi Julion (29-18, 18 KOs) of Monteria in an eight-round bout.
Carlos has stopped six of his eight professional opponents, but Julion brings 47 bouts of professional experience and 18 knockout victories into the matchup. For Kansas City-area boxing fans, the appearance of both Jorge and Izak Carlos adds another strong local element to an already deep card.
Rounding out the featured group of undefeated fighters is Orlando, Florida’s Ryan Maine (9-0, 6 KOs), who will put his perfect record on the line against David Lobo Ramirez (20-7, 15 KOs) of Heredia, Costa Rica, in a scheduled eight-round bout.
With a combined 21 knockout victories between them, Maine and Ramirez bring plenty of punching power into a matchup between an undefeated prospect and an experienced opponent looking to disrupt his rise.
For Harrison, those types of matchups are exactly what BiYu Promotions wants to bring to Kansas City.
“When fans buy a ticket, we want them to feel like they’re seeing fighters who are going somewhere,” Harrison continued. “We have seven undefeated fighters on this card, but they’re not coming here just to protect their records. They’re facing opponents with experience, power and something to prove themselves. That’s what creates exciting fights.”
“We also have talented fighters from right here in Kansas, and that’s important to us. We want the local community to come out, support these fighters and be part of their journeys. You never know which fighter you’re watching today who could be fighting on the biggest stages in boxing a few years from now.”
The Heart of America Pro + Am Boxing Invitational is designed to offer something for longtime boxing followers as well as Kansas City sports fans looking to experience live boxing firsthand.
The professional lineup brings together undefeated prospects, hometown fighters, international opposition and championship stakes, while the amateur component gives developing boxers an opportunity to compete as part of a major two-day event.
For BiYu Promotions, bringing the event to Memorial Hall is also an opportunity to continue building professional boxing in the region and introduce new fans to the sport.
“We want people from Kansas City, Kansas City, Missouri, and throughout the surrounding communities to come be part of this,” Harrison concluded. “Bring your family, bring your friends and come support these fighters. We’re bringing a lot of talent into Memorial Hall for two days, and our goal is for people to walk out talking about the fights they just saw and asking when we’re coming back.”
