Day one of the 2026 USA Boxing National Open concluded this evening after one session of Olympic-style boxing. On Day one, 67 bouts were decided among male Junior, Youth, and Elite divisions inside the Cleveland Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio.
USA Boxing’s 2026 National Open is its fourth national event of the year and the final national and rankings event before the 2026 USA Boxing National Championships in Lafayette, Louisiana. After Day one, 134 boxers entered the ring, including 29 from the home state of Ohio and six from Cleveland.
Day two of the National Open will continue Tuesday, September 29, at the Cleveland Public Auditorium. The second session of the event kicks off at noon ET and will include 66 bouts across the male Junior, Youth, and Elite divisions. The 2026 USA Boxing National Open will take place from September 28 to October 3 and will consist of one daily session from Monday through Saturday, starting at noon ET. Female competition is scheduled to begin Thursday, with Youth and Junior male finals also taking place Thursday. Elite finals are scheduled for Friday, and Intermediate, Bantam, and PeeWee finals are set for Saturday.
