Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has urged Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo to enhance his attacking threat amid a recent dip in form.

Semenyo has failed to score in his last five Premier League appearances, though Bournemouth continues to perform well.

Speaking on Semenyo’s performance, Iraola highlighted areas for improvement. “As a full-back, you anticipate the opposition’s moves and block their strong foot. Antoine needs to vary his play, mix things up, and adapt during games to remain unpredictable,” Iraola said.

Semenyo, 24, has scored four goals and provided one assist this season. Despite his struggles, the forward remains a key figure in Bournemouth’s squad.

His performances have reportedly attracted interest from Liverpool, with the Reds eyeing him as a possible successor to Mohamed Salah amid ongoing speculation about Salah’s future.

Bournemouth fans will hope Semenyo returns to form as the season progresses. The club will face Manchester United this weekend.
