Botswana’s Olympian, Letsile Tebogo, has been announced as the men’s World Athlete of the Year at the World Athletics Awards 2024.

The 21-year-old won Botswana’s first Olympic gold medal in the 200m race at the Paris Games with a record time of 19.46s, marking a historic era.
