BOST Energies has appointed Nat Salifu Acheampong as Deputy Managing Director as part of efforts to strengthen its leadership and enhance operational efficiency within Ghana’s energy infrastructure sector.

The state-owned company, which oversees the country’s strategic petroleum storage, transportation and distribution network, announced the appointment in a press release on Wednesday, describing it as a key step in reinforcing management capacity to support its expanding mandate.

Formerly known as the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company, BOST Energies plays a pivotal role in Ghana’s energy logistics, including fuel storage, pipeline development and nationwide distribution.

In his new role, Acheampong will support the Managing Director, Afetsi Awoonor, in supervising daily operations and driving strategic initiatives aimed at improving performance and strengthening the company’s contribution to national energy security.

The company noted that further details regarding Acheampong’s professional background and the scope of his responsibilities would be outlined in the official announcement.

The appointment is expected to bolster BOST Energies’ capacity to secure a reliable energy supply and expand critical infrastructure to meet growing domestic and regional demand.
