BOST Energies Limited Company (BOSTenergies) held a send-off ceremony on Monday, February 16, 2026, for its outgoing Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie, and welcomed Salifu Nat Acheampong as her successor.

This comes after Bondzie was recently appointed by President John Dramani Mahama as the Executive Secretary of the Ghana Energy Commission, prompting the leadership transition at BOSTenergies.

Acheampong, a long-serving staff member, has now been elevated to the role of DMD.

During the ceremony, Managing Director Afetsi Awoonor praised Bondzie for her contributions to fostering a culture of discipline, excellence, welfare, and teamwork.

“Her exit is bittersweet, a great loss to BOSTenergies but a big gain for the power sector she is set to lead,” Awoonor said.

In her farewell address, Bondzie thanked the management and staff for their support and expressed confidence in the company’s continued success.

“BOSTenergies has always been my home, and I remain committed to its growth even as I take on my new role,” she said.

The new DMD, Salifu Nat Acheampong, expressed gratitude for his appointment and pledged full support to the Managing Director in driving the company’s vision forward.

Acheampong has been with BOSTenergies since February 2013, serving in roles including Manager of Corporate Communications & External Affairs and Executive Technical Liaison.

“I am committed to collaborating with the management and staff to continue building on BOSTenergies’ legacy of excellence,” he said.

The ceremony was attended by the company’s management team and staff.
