The National Deaf Men’s Football Association has secured promising support from the PKO Group of Companies as it prepares for upcoming international competitions and pursues long-term World Cup ambitions.

The development follows a meeting held on February 12, 2026, at the Ghana Football Association, where officials from both sides discussed potential partnership opportunities and the Association’s pressing operational and financial needs.

The Association disclosed that it currently has 30 registered players and is preparing for a crucial tournament in April that could influence future continental and global qualification prospects. However, it faces significant challenges, with most players and officials serving on a voluntary basis and limited sponsorship support.

Key needs outlined include jerseys, training boots, tracksuits and financial assistance to cover competition expenses and player welfare. Despite these constraints, the team is ranked among the top three deaf football sides in Africa and remains determined to compete globally.

Representatives of PKO Group welcomed the engagement and indicated they would review proposed sponsorship packages and explore possible support through financial institutions and corporate networks. A formal response is expected within two weeks, as both parties reaffirmed their commitment to inclusive sports development.
