Two men have been charged with murder after a 23-year-old woman was found unconscious at a suburban home in Brisbane‘s west.
Emergency services discovered the woman about 8pm on Friday after receiving reports she had collapsed at a property on Ash Avenue in Springfield Lakes.
She was found unconscious and not breathing, and died at the scene.
Two men; the woman’s brother-in-law, 28, and the woman’s husband, 26, were taken into custody and were said to be assisting officers with their enquiries.
Queensland Police said both men have since been charged with one count of murder and will front Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday.
Detective Inspector Michael Manago said several lines of inquiry were being investigated into what allegedly happened on Friday evening.
A crime scene has been established at the home.
A post-mortem will also be performed.
