The Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF) has officially appointed celebrated media mogul, CEO of EIB Network Group, and founder of Empire Ghana, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi—popularly known as Bola Ray—as the Country Board Chair for Ghana ahead of the much-anticipated 2025 festival.

According to the official release, Bola Ray joins the GEF Board with an exceptional portfolio in media, business leadership, and nation-building.

The team stated, “Bola Ray brings a wealth of experience and visionary ideas to the GEF Board. His commitment to empowering African entrepreneurs aligns perfectly with our mission to inspire, connect, and transform the future of entrepreneurship across the continent.”

Speaking about the milestone, Bola Ray lauded the GEF team and expressed his excitement for his new role: “GEF 2025 is a movement. I’m honoured to serve Ghana in this role and help create a lasting impact by connecting ideas, people, and opportunity.”

As part of preparations for GEF 2025, Ghana is set to host the Global Business Mixer and a high-level press conference on April 25, 2025, in Accra.

The event will bring together influential voices from business, government, and media to discuss Africa’s entrepreneurship landscape and Ghana’s emerging role in shaping its future.

The Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2025 will run from November 21–23, 2025, at the Entrepreneurship Village in Nigeria, gathering innovators, policymakers, investors, and changemakers from across the continent.
