Chief Executive Officer of EIB Network, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi Chief Executive Officer of EIB Network, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi

Chief Executive Officer of EIB Network, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, has dismissed claims linking Qnet, a global direct marketing company, to widespread fraudulent activities reported across the country.

Speaking on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ghana Yensom Morning show hosted by Chief Jery Forson, Bola Ray clarified that the alleged scams circulating on social media and in local communities were not perpetrated by Qnet itself, but by individuals and unauthorised groups using the company’s name for personal gain.

He emphasised that Qnet’s operations are legitimate and regulated but warned that unscrupulous persons often exploit its brand identity to deceive unsuspecting job seekers and investors, especially in rural and peri-urban areas.

“Qnet as a company has its systems and values, but there are people who take advantage of the name to defraud others.

Those actions do not represent the company,” Bola Ray stated.

He urged the public to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of recruitment or investment offers purportedly linked to Qnet before engaging with them.

Bola Ray also called on the media and relevant authorities to distinguish between genuine corporate operations and fraudulent impersonations, stressing that false narratives could harm legitimate businesses and employees.

The comments come amid renewed public concern over alleged Qnet-related scams, with several arrests reported by police in parts of Ghana and other West African countries.
