    Popular Nigerian socialite Bobrisky has sparked reactions online after commenting on women who pay their own bills despite being in serious relationships.

    In a blunt yet hilarious post, he expressed disbelief and disapproval over the situation, addressing women directly with a pointed message.

    According to him, you shouldn’t be paying your own bills when you are in a serious relationship. Especially when the man in the relationship would still be sleeping with you.

    “Wait!!!! I heard some ladies are in a serious relationship, and they are still paying their own bills.” He went on to randomly call out ‘Aunty Chiamaka,’ saying, Your head is not correct, ma. The werey is still sleeping with you, and you are still paying your own bills, ha! That one na two suffer oh.” He said.

    Though he randomly used the name ‘Chiamaka’ in his post, his comments sparked widespread debate on social media about financial expectations in relationships.

    While some noted that partners should share financial responsibilities, others agreed with the influencer that one should support the other entirely.

    Below are some of the comments;

    “Make I Dey pay my bills small small Abeg before one Adam go ask me “what do I bring to the table” because I have acted like I have no value. Take this Bobs advice at your own peril”

    “She saying the truth believe it or leave it.”

    “Relationship is not a poverty alleviation scheme…It is not a business!”
