The Ride Afrique Accra Criterium 2026, billed as The BlackStar Experience, is set to return on Saturday, 4th April 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium Circuit, promising one of Africa’s most thrilling urban cycling events.

The race will feature a 105-kilometre, 30-lap course, showcasing some of the continent’s fastest cyclists in a high-intensity, professionally organized competition. The women’s criterium will kick off at 9:00 AM, followed by the men’s race at 10:00 AM, offering fans a full morning of world-class cycling action.

Organizers describe the event as more than just a race, calling it a continental movement that blends sport, culture, youth, and pride. By putting African cycling firmly on the global map, Ride Afrique aims to highlight both athletic excellence and the vibrancy of local communities.

Sponsors and partners will benefit from significant exposure to thousands of spectators, extensive media coverage, and engagement with the next generation of African athletes.

As the countdown begins, cycling enthusiasts and sports fans alike are encouraged to join the Ride Afrique legacy, celebrating Africa’s sporting talent and building the continent’s future—one lap at a time.
