Black Stars coach, Otto Addo will announce the squad for Ghana’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the September window on Friday, August 29, 2025, according to multiple media reports.
The Black Stars will take on the Les Sao of Chad on Thursday, September 8, at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on matchday 7 of the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana will return home after the Chad game to host the Eagles of Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, 2025, in a game that can decide the country’s fate in the qualifiers.
The Black Stars are currently leading Group I with 15 points followed by Comoros with 12 points after 6 games.

Madagascar are 3rd with 10 points, Mali 4th with 9 points while Central Africa Republic and Chad occupy the 5th and 6th positions in the group with 5 points and 0 point respectively.
