The Ghana Football Association has expressed confidence in the Black Stars as they intensify preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a series of high-profile international friendlies.

According to the FA’s Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, both the technical team and players are fully focused on delivering strong performances against Austria and Germany in the coming days.

Ghana will first face Austria on Friday before travelling to take on Germany on March 30, in what are expected to be crucial test matches ahead of the tournament.

“We approach the games with a strong spirit and aim for good results,” Asante Twum said in an interview with Asempa FM.

The Black Stars will continue their preparations with additional friendlies against Mexico and Wales in May and June as part of their final build-up to the Mundial.

At the tournament, co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.
