Ghana national under-17 football team have concluded preparations ahead of their crucial Group D encounter against Senegal national under-17 football team at the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Rabat.

The Black Starlets head into Sunday’s fixture seeking their first victory of the tournament after opening their campaign with a 2-2 draw against Algeria national under-17 football team.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his technical team supervised the squad’s final training session, with all players participating fully and no injuries reported in camp.

Training focused on tactical discipline, defensive organization, transitions and finishing as Ghana fine-tuned preparations for the decisive clash against the defending champions.

The players trained with intensity and determination as the Black Starlets aim to boost their chances of progressing to the knockout stage and securing qualification for the FIFA U-17 World Cup later this year.

Ghana will be hoping to build on the positives from their opening match against Algeria, where they displayed attacking quality despite surrendering a two-goal advantage. Victory over Senegal would significantly strengthen their position in Group D.
