Versatile Ghanaian rapper and musician Black Sherif has another reason to smile, as he has dominated the Spotify charts for the year 2025.

The singer took the first positions in the Top Artiste of the Year and the Most Streamed Artiste of the Year lists on the app.

That was just the tip of the iceberg; his 2024 album, “Iron Boy,” also took the Most Streamed Album of the Year spot, while his song from the album, “Sacrifice,” was the Most Streamed Song on the app.

But that was not all: 9 of Black Sherif’s songs made the top 10 on Spotify’s Most Streamed Songs.

Spotify, however, was not the only streaming platform that Black Sherif decimated, literally.

Also led by “Sacrifice,” the Top Twelve spots on the Apple Music Ghana Top Songs of 2025 were completely taken over by the songs from his “Iron Boy” album, making him the first Ghanaian artiste to achieve such a feat.

While fans and Ghanaians await the results from more streaming platforms and DSPs, one thing is clear; that boy from Konongo has achieved what many artistes in Ghana have been dreaming of.
