Some players of the Ghana women’s national football team, the Black Queens, have safely arrived in Ghana after emerging champions of the Pink Ladies Cup held in the United Arab Emirates.

The team delivered strong performances throughout the international friendly tournament, defeating their opponents to clinch the title and boost morale ahead of upcoming international assignments.

However, officials say the full squad is unable to return home at once due to travel disruptions linked to ongoing political instability affecting parts of the Middle East. As a result, players are arriving in Ghana in batches, with the remaining members expected in the coming days.

The tournament victory serves as an important step in the team’s preparations for future continental competitions and international fixtures.
