The Black Queens officially opened camp in Birmingham on Thursday to commence preparations for the upcoming international friendly with the Lionesses of England.

Sixteen players reported on the first day, kicking off a crucial training block under head coach Kim Lars Björkegren.

The team held an opening session at the Bodymoor Heath Training Ground, the state-of-the-art facility used by English Premier League side Aston Villa.

The serene but elite environment provided the perfect setting as the Black Queens began fine-tuning fitness and tactical shape for the task ahead.

Coach Björkegren led the group through a fluid session, focusing on ball movement, quick transitions, and building chemistry among the early arrivals.

Four more players are expected to join the camp later tonight to bring the team to a total of Twenty ahead of tomorrow’s training session.
