Jennifer Cudjoe is a player of the Black Queens

Deputy captain of the Black Queens, Jennifer Cudjoe, is celebrating Ghana’s Independence Day.

On Thursday, March 6, 2025, Ghana will mark its 68th Independence anniversary, and Cudjoe is already gearing up for the celebrations.

In an Instagram post, Cudjoe shared a picture of herself dazzling in vibrant African prints, honoring the country’s rich heritage as it commemorates another year of freedom.

Her post follows the Ghana Women’s National Teams’ decision to participate in the Ghana Month celebration by showcasing technical team members and players in elegant Ghanaian attire.

The DC Power FC midfielder captioned her post, “Tomorrow will mark another year of our country’s independence.”

The post has since received overwhelmingly positive reactions online, with fans praising her for showing love and patriotism toward her country.

Cudjoe was part of the Black Queens squad that narrowly lost to the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in an international friendly in Casablanca on Friday, February 21, 2025.

The match also marked the first game under new head coach Kim Lars Björkegren, as he began preparations for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
