The Black Maidens are set to begin their campaign in the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification with a two-legged first-round tie against Togo next month.

The first leg will take place on Sunday, April 12, at Stade de Kégué in Lomé, with kickoff scheduled for 4pm.

The return leg will then be played six days later on Saturday, April 18, at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3:30pm.

The two matches form part of the opening round of the African qualifiers for the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, where qualified teams across the continent compete for a place at the global tournament.

After a long absence, the Black Maidens will be aiming to secure a strong advantage in the away fixture before returning home to Accra to finish the job in front of home supporters.
