The Black Galaxies have safely arrived in Togo for an international friendly as part of their preparations for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.

The team departed their country in the early hours of Tuesday, December 10, 2024, and arrived in the neighbouring country in the late afternoon.

The team will face Nigeria in the qualifiers as they aim to secure qualification for a tournament they have yet to win.

The Black Galaxies will face a Nigerian side that failed to qualify for the last two editions of the tournament, in 2021 and 2023, in a two-legged tie.

To enhance their readiness, the team will play a friendly against Togo, giving coach Didi Dramani an opportunity to assess his squad.

Ghana will host the first leg of the qualifiers on Saturday, December 21, 2024, with the return leg scheduled to take place between December 27 and 29, 2024.
