Bill Belichick has agreed to a one-on-one interview on Good Morning America this week, as he bids to repair his reputation in the wake of an embarrassing appearance on CBS.

The NFL icon’s recent interview on CBS Sunday Morning was derailed by interruptions from his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson, who sat out of shot but jumped in to stop questions about their relationship.

Belichick has reportedly since recruited outside help from PR guru Brandon Faber as he tries to repair his reputation ahead of the start of his UNC coaching career, and his next move – it seems – is to get back on the horse.

ABC have begun to advertise an exclusive one-on-one chat between Belichick and GMA host Michael Strahan on this Friday’s show, and all eyes will once again be on the Patriots legend on breakfast TV.

It remains to be seen how involved Hudson will be in this next interview, but she is rarely far away from Belichick’s side having taken up a role managing his affairs.

She has become his de-facto business partner, and Belichick is currently in the process of trying to promote his new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football.

But while he – and Hudson – are desperate to keep the questions to football, the clamor continues to grow for information about their love life.

This weekend, Belichick was playing the role of doting boyfriend in Portland, Maine as Hudson competed in the Miss Maine beauty pageant.

The two-day event ended with Hudson placing third, one position worse than she achieved last year.

DailyMail.com spotted the pair sneaking out the back exit of the venue on Sunday afternoon, as a stony-faced Belichick got behind the wheel of their Mercedes to drive them away.

Hudson, meanwhile, was still wearing her beauty pageant dress and sash, and she smiled and waved at photographers trying to get a glimpse of them together.

On the second day of the competition, Hudson appeared to make reference to critics of the pair’s age-gap relationship during a question-and-answer segment.

It was reported this week that Belichick’s family ‘are investigating’ his much younger girlfriend

In it, she said: ‘I hope anyone watching finds the strength to push through whatever they’re going through… hate never wins.’

Reports surfaced earlier this week that Belichick’s family are investigation Hudson amid fears she could ‘destroy everything he’s built’.

Former ESPN reporter Pablo Torre claimed Friday morning on his podcast that Hudson has been told she is no longer welcome at the school’s football facilities – something UNC have since denied.

He reported that high-ranking officials in UNC’s athletic department came to a decision last week that Hudson would not be allowed at the football field or inside the facility.

The sports journalist also stated from a source that, ‘there is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina but Bill’s legacy, reputation – everything he has built and worked for over decades.’

Torre then made the bold claim that the Belichick family ‘has been digging into’ Hudson, with her antics over the last few weeks raising tons of red flags.

In the ill-fated CBS interview last week, the reporter asked for more clarification over how the pair had met, amid a series of salacious internet rumors.

‘We’re not talking about this,’ Hudson interjected, before Belichick had a chance to answer.

A few months ago, emails from Belichick’s new UNC account surfaced online in which he asked staffers to copy in Hudson on all future emails sent to him.
