BBNaija star Erica Nlewedim responds to critics of her cooking skills as she compares herself to American singer Beyonce after cooking vegetable soup.
The 31-year-old actress shared on Twitter (X) to get tweeps’ opinions after she revealed that she was receiving backlash for cooking on Snapchat.
She was disappointed by the negative reaction to the widely shared video, as online users criticized her for not being able to prepare a healthy vegetable soup at her age.
She wrote,
“They’re insulting my cooking on Snapchat. I’m not playing with them anymore, I’m back here. It’s efo riro, and I followed all the steps on YouTube. Beyoncé doesn’t know how to cook, and she’s still a success.”
Erica showed a video of the soup and said she made the local vegetable soup, called efo riro, by following the cooking instructions on YouTube. Unexpectedly, the soup turned out to be very watery and perhaps unappetizing.
She compared herself to Beyoncé in reaction to online critics, claiming that despite her fame, the American singer lacks cooking skills. Regardless of what online users may think of her, Erica hinted that her success is not based on her culinary abilities.
