Ghanaian comic actor and popular TikTok sensation, Ben South, has opened up about why he will never marry in court.

The actor made this revelation in an exclusive chat with blogger Zionfelix ahead of the premiere of his self-produced movie titled 24.

Ben South, who has recently been making headlines, first sparked massive reactions after he revealed in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM’s Ekwanso Dwoodwoo drive-time show that he believes men should marry more than one woman because it brings them peace.

Defending this controversial statement during his conversation with Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Ben South explained that his decision not to marry in court is based on his personal beliefs about marriage. According to him, court marriages tie men in a way that is not good.

He stated, “The only time a man should be in court is when he has an issue to deal with. Marriage, in my opinion, is not an issue that should be settled in court.”

Ben South further emphasized that as an African, he sees marriage as a traditional affair, adding that it should therefore be handled traditionally and not legally bound in a courtroom.
