Media personality Mawuli Ekpe Peter, popularly known as Abro, has expressed disappointment in Beeztrap’s manager over what he described as ‘absurd’ demands.

In a video circulating on social media on April 21, 2025, Abro, who also serves as a panelist on Fakye Showbiz, alleged that Beeztrap’s management demanded GH¢10,000 before agreeing to allow the artiste to appear for an interview on the show.

“We’ve had major personalities like Kwaku Manu, McBrown, and Shatta Wale sit on this show. Can you imagine that when our producer reached out to Beeztrap’s manager, he said they would charge GH¢10,000 before the artiste could come on?” he quizzed.

Abro further stated that he would resign as a panelist on the show if the media house pays any amount for Beeztrap to show up.

“I want to state emphatically that we won’t give him even GH¢1. Don’t tell me to calm down. Over my dead body if you pay him any money.

“I will resign if Fakye TV gives him a dime. Did Shatta Wale take any money when he came on this show? It’s very annoying that a big producer from Fakye TV reaches out to you, and that’s the response you give,” he stated.
