Bechem United head coach, Kobina Amissah has issued a warning to his players ahead of Sunday’s Ghana Premier League clash with Karela United, highlighting the visitors’ impressive record on the road.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Amissah acknowledged that facing Karela away from home presents a unique challenge that his side must be prepared for.

“Karela United are good when it comes to away performances,” he admitted.

The coach revealed that he has yet to study Karela’s matches in detail but plans to do so before settling on a tactical approach.

“I’ve not watched their matches before, but we will watch them and plan with a system we believe can get us the results.”

Amissah stressed that respect for the opponent will not translate into fear.

“We won’t take them for granted because they have a good coach. But we are going to do what we need to do to get the maximum points.”

Despite the difficulty of the task, the Bechem United coach backed his side to rise to the occasion.

“We know it’s going to be difficult, but we are confident we will win the game.”
