Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has stated his strong belief that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will revolutionize Ghana’s economy if won in the December elections.

Citing Dr. Bawumia’s effective partnership with the Bank of Ghana to fortify the local currency during his administration, Mr. Kufuor commended Dr. Bawumia’s exceptional economic management skills.

Speaking to a limited group of journalists on Sunday, November 17, the former president emphasized Dr. Bawumia’s ability to hasten Ghana’s economic progress and urged Ghanaians to support him with a resounding vote.

“Given the current global circumstances, I firmly believe that Ghana’s economy will experience significant improvement if Bawumia is elected as President. With divine guidance, he is capable of delivering on this promise, and I encourage you to support his candidacy.

“I have observed his remarkable abilities in economic enhancement during my tenure, as he was integral to the Bank of Ghana’s team under Governor Dr. Paul Acquah, contributing to the revival of the currency.”
