Former EastEnders star Shaun Williamson delighted the crowd at Alexandra Palace by performing Sweet Caroline.

The crowd at the World Darts Championship certainly welcomed his performance, which generated a superb atmosphere.

In addition, he also performed 1980s song ‘(Something Inside) So Strong’. 

The darts cheerleaders joined in with his performance by dancing along.

There was much applause for Williamson, who is frequently referred to by the name of his EastEnders character.

Williamson played Barry Evans in EastEnders from 1994 to 2004.

In addition, he also performed 1980s song ‘(Something Inside) So Strong’

He later appeared in sitcom Extras as ‘Barry off EastEnders’; a satirical version of himself.

There were some significant upsets at Alexandra Palace on Sunday, with some of the tournament’s big names being knocked out.

Gary Anderson, for instance, suffered a shock second-round defeat to Jeffrey De Graaf.

Fellow seeded players Ross Smith, Martin Schindler, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Ritchie Edhouse were also eliminated.
