Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez dominated Fernando “Puma” Martinez from start to finish to unify 3/4 of the super flyweight title. While Martinez had his moments, Rodriguez showed that his craft was superior to anything he could offer. Martinez began to weaken down the stretch and finally he himself was stretched via a beautiful counter left in the 10th round. Referee Edward Collantes called it off at 1:25 of the round. Rodriguez is now the WBC/WBO/WBA champ at 115 lb. and remains perfect at 23-0, 16 KOs. Martinez loses for the first time at 18-1, 9 KOs.
