Australian tennis great Pat Cash has announced his engagement to singer-songwriter and massage therapist Charlotte Hodson.
The 1987 Wimbledon champion revealed the happy news on Instagram, sharing an emotional message about finding his soulmate.
‘Every now and then, life can surprise you in the very best way,’ Cash wrote.
‘I’m so incredibly lucky to know that through an amazing string of coincidences I found my soulmate.
‘I can’t help but believe God had it all planned to perfection. She said yes.’
Cash, 61, and Hodson made their public debut as a couple at Wimbledon in 2025, where they were photographed together in the Royal Box.

The couple later appeared in photographs with a host of famous faces, including tennis legend Bjorn Borg, actor Benedict Cumberbatch, cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar and fashion executive David Lauren.
Hodson is a singer-songwriter and massage therapist who has worked with Cash and rising American tennis player Kayla Day since 2023.
She has also toured with Cash as part of The Pat Cash Experience, a show combining tennis and live music.
The show features Hodson’s band, Chocolate Charlie.
Cash had previously spoken openly about his feelings for Hodson, describing her as the love of his life.
‘I don’t know if we’ll go down the marriage route but she’s the love of my life, that’s for sure,’ he told The Mirror in 2025.
The engagement marks a new chapter for Cash, who has largely kept his private life away from public view throughout his post-playing career.
He was married to Brazilian Emily Bendit from 1990 until 2002, with the former couple sharing twin sons.

Cash also has a son and daughter with his former partner, Norwegian model Anne-Britt Kristiansen.
He became a father at 21 and a grandfather shortly before turning 45 in 2010.
The Melbourne-born star was also romantically linked to Australian television presenter Tania Zaetta in 2011.
Cash remains one of Australia’s most recognisable tennis figures after a career highlighted by his famous Wimbledon triumph.
He defeated world No.1 Ivan Lendl in straight sets in the 1987 final before climbing into the Centre Court stands to celebrate with his family, girlfriend and coach Ian Barclay.
That celebration helped establish a tradition later followed by other Wimbledon champions.
Cash also reached consecutive Australian Open finals in 1987 and 1988 and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No.4.
He played a key role in Australia’s Davis Cup victories in 1983 and 1986, winning decisive singles matches in both finals.

The hard-fighting serve-and-volley player became known for wearing his trademark black-and-white chequered headband and cross earring.
A series of injuries prevented Cash from consistently recapturing his best form after his Wimbledon victory, with problems involving his Achilles tendon, knees and back affecting the latter stages of his career.
Since retiring, he has worked as a coach and television commentator, including for the BBC during Wimbledon.
Cash, who has lived mainly in London since leaving the professional singles tour, was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2005.
He has coached several leading players, including Mark Philippoussis, Greg Rusedski and CoCo Vandeweghe, while continuing to compete in legends events.
He returned to the BBC commentary box for Wimbledon in 2026 and has also continued touring alongside his now-fiancée.
