Ghanaian goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi delivered an impressive performance to help FC St. Gallen secure a convincing 3-0 victory over FC Basel in round 29 fixture of the Swiss Super League.

The match, played at the Kybunpark, saw St. Gallen produce a dominant display to claim all three points and strengthen their position near the top of the table.

Ati-Zigi was outstanding between the posts, making five crucial saves to keep a clean sheet and deny Basel any chance of getting back into the contest. His commanding display earned him a match rating of 8.1 on SofaScore.

The result means the Espen remain second on the league table and have now gone eight matches unbeaten as they continue their impressive run of form this season.

The stalwart shot-stopper has also been among the best goalkeepers in the league this campaign, with only two keepers recording more clean sheets than him so far.

With his strong performances in Switzerland, Lawrence Ati-Zigi will be hoping to strengthen his case for a place in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
