    At least eight people die as hot-air balloon bursts into flames and plunges to the ground in Brazil as it is claimed two SURVIVED

    At least eight people have died after a hot-air balloon burst into flames and plunged to the ground in Brazil – as it is claimed two miraculously survived. 

    The horrifying crash is reported to have happened today in Brazil‘s southern state of Santa Catarina.

    The state governor Jorginho Mello announced the deaths this morning in a post on X. 

    Some 22 people were onboard – and rescue teams are still searching for the 12 individuals not accounted for at the crash site in the Praia Grande region.
