With ‘On My Way’, Ghanaian Highlife-Pop artiste Asiama offers a track that is as much about the path as the destination.

Produced by master musician and musical director Kwame Yeboah (Yusuf/Cat Stevens, Craig David, Kwashibu Area Band), the song is rooted in Voltarian drumming and Highlife’s timeless soul.

Born Emmanuel Asiamah Mensah in the Ashanti Region, Asiama’s journey from a Gospel-filled home to national stages reflects dedication and quiet ambition.

His voice, rare, pure, and deeply emotive – is now studied by a Brazilian vocal coach as a benchmark of expressive control.

His debut ‘Akoma’ was a heartfelt prayer. ‘On My Way’ is a journal entry – reflective, wise, and brimming with gratitude. “I’m not rushing,” Asiama says. “I’m just moving forward, step by step. I’m on my way.”
