FC AshantiGold ’04 and Ebusua Dwarf both won their games emphatically over the weekend to keep their dreams of promotion to the Ghana Premier League alive.  

Zone Two leaders FC AshantiGold ’04 sent a strong message to their title rivals with a commanding 4-0 away victory over Sefwi All Stars at Juaboso Mampiobo Town Park on Sunday. Richmond Fosu stole the show, opening the scoring in the 10th minute before doubling the advantage in the 35th.

After the break, Fosu completed his hat-trick in the 66th minute, with Raphael Ankamah adding a fourth just four minutes later. Fosu was named Player of the Match for his exceptional display. The win moves FC AshantiGold ’04 three points clear at the summit with 43 points from 21 matches.

Elsewhere, Ebusua Dwarfs maintained pressure on the leaders with a convincing 3-0 victory over former Premier League side King Faisal at the Robert Mensah Stadium. Godfred Eshun opened the scoring in the 26th minute, Seidu Tijani doubled it in the 58th, and Eshun sealed the win in the 89th minute, earning Player of the Match honors. The win lifts Ebusua Dwarfs to 40 points, keeping the race at the top intensely competitive.
